It would have been far better for her to simply have admitted that she flat out lied in an effort to shore up her slipping poll numbers. Sure, most of her supporters would have been disgusted at first but would eventually have got over it and forgiven her. After all, we ALL sin. But to perpetuate her sin by stating that she misspoke is beyond ridiculous. What other occasion was she shot at that she might have been confusing this with? Was there another occasion that she had to forego meeting waiting dignitaries to run for cover? Come on, Hillary supporters, you can’t be THAT dense!

Not being an American, it is perhaps easier for me than other posters to take a dispationate view of her statement.

I shudder to think what a Hillary Clinton Administration would look like. Remember Janet Reno, Donna Shalala, Robert Reich, Paul Begala, George Stephanopoulos, etc. These were the best and the brightest that President Bill Clinton could come up with. Who do you suppose will be desperate enough to serve in a Hillary Cabinet?

What self-respecting professional would touch a Hillary Administration with a 10 foot pole? They’d be committing political suicide. Look at the long list of former Clintonistas who had their reputations ruined, their lives destroyed, lost their freedom so they could serve prison time, falling on their swords for the Clintons. Look at the bankrupted friends of Bill & Hillary, their shattered dreams which lay in their wakes. Look at all the actual dead bodies; the suicides, murders, illnesses that caused premature deaths; the carnage is staggering.

What serious politician would want to serve as Hillary’s Vice President? I bet if she wins, she’ll have to ask some total loser to be her running mate because no one worthy of the job will want to serve with her.

If McCain wins you gonna buy me a beer as I write your new Republican party membership card?

The Dems are so dysfunctional that even when the other side give a gift (like Wright) they can’t capitalize on it…

As for the Clintons, their history is full of lies, proven lies and only the deft fail to see that. I might be a broken clock (and my broken clock would only be right once a day 24 hour clock) but Bill lied when he did not have sex and there are plenty more where that came from.

The difference between a Democrat puppy and a Republican puppy is that the republican puppy has its eyes open…
