George Bush is certainly no conservative.

In general, liberals have less respect for the flag and the rule of law. IN GENERAL.

Look at the jail population and their political registration and ideology.

In general, liberals believe that the Constitution is a living document that can be interpreted for the moment. Abortion is not mentioned but it is a “Constitutional” right…

In General, you will not find conservatives burning flags and desecrating them, in general.

I have been to the rallies. Libs are burning and stepping on the flag and conservatives are holding it in high regard.

In general.

Not all libs are that way and I know some very patriotic ones, but in general, it is this way.

The couple probably intended no malice but neither does the speeder or guy who drinks and drives but they broke the law nontheless.

It is your general statement that “liberals” have no respect for the flag and do not know how to respect or take care of it that is the problem. If you are going to say that then you really need to include George W. Bush in that statement, not just “liberals”, whether he broke the law or not.

No malice was intended (by Bush or the couple), and no one got hurt. I think a warning is sufficient. I think your problem is more that the couple is “liberal” than what was done to the flag. That is why we are seeing a long ranting post about the “liberals” and a simple ‘bad form’ in the comments section about W..

Let me help you guys out.

Adam, That is NOT an American Flag. It does not meet the definition of the Flag as it is missing the Field and the Stars. The Navy Jack is a recognized flag and it is not recognized as our National Flag.

Randy, If George Bush was in DC when he did that then he and the person who handed it to him should have been fined or jailed or both (who places or causes to be placed so they are both guilty). Since the USC applies to DC, if Bush was not in DC he did not break the law. He exercised bad form and desecrated the Flag. Where he was makes the difference between a crime and a wrong act. No one is above the law and if he was wrong then he was wrong. You guys seem to think we believe GWB can do no wrong. We know he does both as opposed to you guys who think he never did anything right.

Now, it might be easier to get Bush prosecuted for this than the moonbats from Delaware given the tone in DC. Plus, moonbats don’t peruse lawbreaking moonbats. They are only interested in pursuing Republicans.

Does this answer your feeble attempt? Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter who did it.

Adam, learn your history and learn to interpret the law before you make absurd statements. But to help you once again, the Navy Jack is a flag that is different than the US Flag to which this code applies.
