David Axelrod Calls Miss California A Dog

The Drudge Report had an item up with regard to the Chicago slimeball David Axelrod (or more appropriately, Nimrod) and the lead in was “TOP WHITE HOUSE ADVISOR SUGGESTS FIRST FAMILY NAME DOG ‘MISS CALIFORNIA’.”

This was misleading because Axelrod did not claim that the dog should be named Miss California. What he said was that he was involved in the selection of the final three (dogs) and that Miss California was one of them.

Finally, there was the conversation weaving between, of all things, Miss California U.S.A. Carrie Prejean, the same-sex marriage opponent who the panel had already mocked at length, and Bo, the Obama family’s Portuguese water dog.

When Mr. Axelrod was asked how involved he was in the selection of Bo, he jokingly answered that he “only got called in for the final three.”

But as Mr. Axelrod was trying to set the record straight – he actually was not consulted – Mr. Sagal asked about the two runner-ups.

“One was Miss California,” Mr. Axelrod cracked to the audience’s laughter. The New York Times

The article clearly indicates that the issue was the selection of the dog, that Axelrod (jokingly) claimed he was called in for the final three and that one of them was Miss California.

I have a hard time understanding how this moron (or any other) could call Carrie Prejean a dog. She is an absolutely beautiful woman and in no way a dog. However, Democrats have to attempt to destroy anyone who says things they do not like. The irony is that Prejean’s position on gay marriage is EXACTLY the same as Barack Obama’s. The difference, of course, is that he is the messiah of the left and she is a Christian conservative.

If Axelrod wanted to look around for “female dogs” then these would be more appropriate; Clinton, Napolitano, Helen Thomas, Janet Reno, and Perez Hilton.

David Axelrod is a Chicago thug and a moron who would not know a pretty girl if she sat in his lap. His shot at Prejean demonstrates the methodology of the Obama people and their Chicago mobster tactics. Joking or not, it was not appropriate.

I wonder if David Axelrod was one of the three finalists for Obama family dog. That would only follow since he has been Obama’s lapdog for quite some time.

He plays the part well. Look at where he keeps his nose…

He did not “call Miss California A Dog.”

He was on a game show. He made a joke. The audience laughed.

    Oh the horror!

    D.

    • In on it not says:

Then maybe the audience should be shot as well.
Are you trying to tell us that because people laugh, it’s OK?

By that phylosophy, when I laugh when some street-fag beats Alex-roddles’ brains out, it will be OK!

Sounds like a fair trade to me.

    • Blake says:

He implied that Miss California was a dog in making that attempt at humor. Intelligent repartee is not Axelrod’s forte- he should stick to taking some kid’s lunch money- Isn’t that better suited to a Chicago politico?

  2. Big Dog says:

Yeah Darrel, I said it was a joke and that it was inappropriate. Yes, he called her a dog when he said that the choice for a dog included her. Comprehension is not your strong suit.

Remember the uproar when people made fun of Chelsea Clinton? Suppose someone said that one of Obama’s daughters was considered for a family dog.

Suppose you libs would like that?

Maybe if someone joked about the magic negro, a valid literary term, and used it to spoof those in the race baiting profession, they would not be castigated.

Oh wait, that spoof, that parody, THAT JOKE was brought into question.

Yes, Nimrod made a joke but he did it at the expense of a young lady who is opposite his political views.

I don’t expect you to understand.

  3. Blake says:

Axelrod, as does anyone from chicago politics, uses the playbook from Saul Alinsky called Rules For Radicals, in which the postulates that it is easier to use the weapon of ridicule, than to try and win an argument on its merits.
Of course Alinsky is or was a communist, but they still lap up his spew even today- Hillary Clinton did her Master’s Thesis on Alinsky, and I know Barama studied him.
Marginalizing people they do not agree with is the libs way of compensating for a small mind.

  4. Bill Jones says:

I don’t think Axelrod was trying to sat she ugly…I think he was calling her a bitch. This is what passes for “clever” in liberal circles.

    • Big Dog says:

I thought as much Bill which is why I said the examples of female dogs in quotes. Clever is if they can put their shoes on the correct feet and tie them.

  5. Darrel says:

BIG: “Yeah Darrel, I said it was a joke and that it was inappropriate. Yes, he called her a dog when he said that the choice for a dog included her.”

You know Big dog, I think I made a boo here. I went and listened to the audio and see my mistake. From my reading of the brief quotation given I thought he was referring to naming of the dog and the name “Miss California” was considered as a name. The audio makes it clear that he was saying Miss California was considered for the position of family dog.
So this is an inappropriate joke indeed, and you are correct.
