Confirm Your Email Subscriptions

Some of you might have noticed that my site was down for a portion of the day (the 3 of you who read it). Bluehost informed me that my site had been deactivated due to spamming. Evidently, someone who signed up for email is reporting the emails as spam.

Bluehost confirmed that I meet all the requirements under the TOS and reactivated the site. I have attempted to reroute the emails but that was unsuccessful.

If you receive emails from me and do not want them please click the link at the bottom of the email and you will be unsubscribed. If you have trouble with this you can contact me via the contact form and ask me to remove you and I will be happy to do so.

I do not add people to get emails so I cannot understand why someone would sign up and then report it as spam.

It probably had nothing to do with you and everything to do with the jerkoffs who waste their time screwing around just so we end up wasting our time trying to sort it all out. The constant flow of jackasses with their email spamming and their virus/worm/trojan writing really gets old fast.

Adam, we can absolutely agree on this one. The people who spam are morons. The guy at Bluehost told me that the 3 complaints came from Comcast. One of the complaints had an email and I know the person. He would not have said it was spam.

Comcast got hit a few years ago because people were using its port 25 to spam through. Now they give Bluehost a hard time for emails.

They confirmed I meet the TOS and put the site back up. I don’t know how to check and make sure I am not being used as a bot for spam.
