Cindy Sheehan is leaving the anti war activism gig that she has enjoyed for a few years since her son was killed in the war. Cindy is upset because she is being attacked by Democrats for taking them to task for their stance on the war. She has come to the realization that she was the darling of the Democrats while bashing the Republicans but as soon as she aimed her anger at them they would have no use for her. We have known this for a long time and many of us said that she would no longer be useful once the Democrats took control of Congress.
She was their useful idiot. She was a pawn manipulated by the left and held as the darling of the anti war movement until they no longer needed her. She, in many ways, is like the black population in this country. Every election cycle the Democrats run around and make a lot of promises to blacks even though they fail to follow through on those promises and they forget about the blacks the day after the election. The Jews fit in that mold as well. It seems that after every election blacks and Jews complain about the Democrats and their lack of progress on this or that but when it comes time for an election those groups pony right up to the kool-aid bar.
I guess it took Cindy a while to figure out that she was a useful idiot and that must hurt. Perhaps if she was not wallowing in self pity, she could have seen it all along.
