Chocolate Jesus Display Melts Away

An “art” exhibit that depicted a nude chocolate Jesus has been canceled after protests from religious groups. The local radio station here reported that the Jesus was anatomically correct and I want to know how they would know that since no one alive today ever saw Jesus before he was crucified.

In any event, the uproar by the Christian community put an end to this display though the display might have run into copyright issues because the person who was to play Mary Magdalene was to go by the moniker M&M. So the show would have been M&M chocolate which would clearly violate the copyright of the candy.

I am glad they took this down. Easter will be here soon and instead of making a Jesus that Ray Nagin would welcome to New Orleans, perhaps people could remember what good Jesus did during his short stay here and try to do the same.
