ILLEGALS Kill Border Guard

Those of us who believe in the rule of law want the borders of this country, particularly the southern border, closed down so that ILLEGALS cannot sneak across. People like Ted Kennedy and John McCain (and every Democrat) like to characterize these people as honest and hard working. I have no doubt they are hard working people (I doubt they only do jobs Americans won’t) but they are not HONEST. When a person breaks the law by crossing our border ILLEGALLY and then lives here under false pretenses then that is anything but honesty. This is criminal behavior and our government has sanctioned it for decades. The people in our Congress have turned a blind eye to border patrol agents who were thrown in jail for doing their duties, agents who received more time in jail for protecting us than any of the ILLEGALS get for invading us.

Now we have word that a border patrol agent in California was run over by a vehicle that he tried to stop after it entered this country ILLEGALLY. The area where this took place is popular among off road enthusiasts as well as drug runners entering the US ILLEGALLY. Our government is responsible for the death of this agent. The failure of the President and the Congress to secure our borders has allowed a vehicle to enter ILLEGALLY and run over an agent.

The way our government treats these things it might be a blessing that the agent died. If he had lived the government would have locked him up for a decade because he bothered an honest, hard working invader.

Let’s Give Texas Back to Mexico and Be Done with it

The Mexicans have been invading America and they want to take Texas back. They are coming in here and sucking up resources and our Congress shows how impotent it is by ignoring the problem or by trying to reward lawbreakers. I think it is the right time to just give Texas back to Mexico and be done with it. It is obvious that the Texans don’t want to do anything to solve the problem so they can be part of Mexico or move before we seal off the border.

I originally thought that we might be able to solve the problem and still keep Texas but it now appears that Texas has decided it likes the ILLEGALS and wants them around. Those of us who don’t are xenophobes and our opinions don’t count. The Dallas Morning News has named the ILLEGAL immigrant as its person of the year. According to the DMN, the ILLEGALS do work Americans will not (at least not for the same wages) and they are such hard workers. Of course they do work for low wages. They make it up by taking millions of dollars in taxpayer money to which they are not entitled and by having jackpot babies so they can lay claim to this country.

If the DMN is so enamored with the ILLEGALS and thinks they should be the person of the year than that is fine. Let’s just give Texas back to Mexico and forbid entry from the northern Texas border. Texas can deal with the poverty, the social problems, the crime, the jackpot babies (well, they would be Mexican citizens by then) and they can figure a way to pay for it all without the money from US taxpayers.

Then, maybe the DMN would see how life really is. As long as someone else pays it is fine but when they have to foot the bill I imagine they would not be too happy.

BTW, if you want to see jobs that most Americans will not do look at any member of our Armed Forces. Now those are jobs most Americans will not do for any wage. Most ILLEGALS have no interest in doing that job.

Tancredo Trades Principle for Politics, Blows Immigration Stance

Tom Tancredo officially dropped out of the GOP race today and he threw his support behind Mitt Romney. Tancredo has great positions on immigration but he is a one trick pony. All he ever talked about was immigration. I am sure there are other issues he has positions on but he failed to come across as anything more than an advocate for tough immigration law enforcement. The one trick got old fast for a number of people who realize that there are many issues in addition to immigration. In dropping out Tancredo had the chance to show how principled he was with regard to his signature issue. Unfortunately, he failed miserably.

Tom Tancredo threw his support behind Mitt Romney who Tancredo met with to receive assurances that Romney would be tough on the issue of immigration. In throwing his support behind Romney Tancredo stated that he was “the best hope for our cause.” This is where I have problems and where it appears to me that he abandoned his principles and went for the politics of the issue. Romney is not as bad as Giuliani or Huckabee when it comes to immigration but he has had his issues with it. I don’t believe that Romney should be held accountable if the company he hired employed illegals. It is the responsibility of the company to do that. However, the company in question had been caught using ILLEGALS before and Romney failed to keep an eye on them or to replace them all together. It took a news report showing admitted ILLEGALS working on his property for him before he fired the company. This man is running for the presidency. He is under much higher scrutiny than the guy next door and he should have been on top of this. He says he is tough on immigration but it does not appear that way.

Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul are the only remaining GOP candidates with records that reflect tough immigration policies. If Tancredo wanted to show that he was absolutely concerned about the issue he should have selected one of these candidates to throw his support behind. Ron Paul has a very good plan with regard to immigration and while I am not in favor of many of his other policies I like his stance on immigration and our borders. Fred Thompson has an equally good plan at his site as does Duncan Hunter. Any of these guys would have been a better choice to be “the best hope for our cause.” Yet, Tancredo neglected each of these people, people who have stands and would not need to provide reassurance, in order to support Romney, a man with questionable views on Immigration. Before the Romney crowd beats me up, remember, Tancredo needed to get reassurance. That is usually not necessary if you have been clear and consistent.

It is unfortunate but Tancredo traded his principles. It gives the impression that Tancredo was not all that serious about immigration because he could not back one of the people who is actually tough on the issue. Since that was his only issue he could have at least picked someone who held the same beliefs. If Romney gets elected and he ends up signing an amnesty bill Tancredo and his efforts will go to the ash heap of history. He will be viewed as a man who backed the guy who gave the country away.

It is unfortunate that Tancredo could not get this right but at least it shows that he would not have been a good president. If he blew this easy choice this badly think about how terribly he would do with judges, justices, and just about any other appointee.

Did Students Also Suck up Government Benefits?

A Spanish teacher in Ohio has her students conduct a role playing exercise where she has them assume an identity of a Latino and try to apply to enter the US legally. She then stamps all their papers DENIED and tells them to figure out how to get in ILLEGALLY. This is supposed to be an eye opening experience that teaches empathy as each student goes to local businesses and asks for applications that are written in Spanish and then tries to figure out how to live here and make a living as an ILLEGAL.

The teacher, Erica Vieyra, feels that immigration is one of the most important problems of our time and she believes that by teaching these students to have empathy they might make a difference when they grow up and become voters and possibly lawmakers. I wonder why this teacher did not have them go to the government assistance offices and figure out ways to bilk the US taxpayer out of money? Perhaps she could have had the girls get pregnant and drop a jackpot baby here so it would be given the status of citizen and guarantee generations of other family members entering to ride the baby’s coattails. Maybe she could have had them apply for college at great tuition rates and then watch as real citizens pay more money, no doubt to offset the handouts to ILLEGALS.

I think this teacher should have focused on teaching her students how to obey the law rather than to break it. Imagine a business teacher telling students to apply for a job and then denying it only to inform the student to get it illegally, by forging documents. Perhaps the business teacher could give an assignment for students to already have a job and they have to make a million dollars and when they don’t he teaches them how to do it illegally.

Perhaps someone should teach this teacher how to stop blaming the United States for the ILLEGAL acts of immigrants. They have a hard time because they break the law. They have no regard for the law and they expect people to ignore their activities as if they are entitled to a life here. This is our house and we get to say who enters and who does not.

I wonder how this teacher would react if a student who was failing her class broke into the school computer and changed his grades so he would pass? That is the lesson she is teaching…

Alien from Roswell Deported

Though Roswell is known for the aliens that people believe are held there by the government, it is actually home to other aliens that school officials are trying to keep the government from getting rid of. An 18 year old pregnant ILLEGAL immigrant was deported after she failed to provide proper identification. She was given a ticket for driving without a license and was given a few days to present some identification. She did not and was reported to Immigration Services. She was deported to Mexico because she was here ILLEGALLY.

There are people up in arms about this and of course there are children afraid. They are afraid because they are ILLEGAL and know they are breaking the law. It is pretty plain and simple and should not need to be explained. This woman was 18 years old and that makes her an adult. There is no need to get a parent involved because she is an adult. She is also pregnant so I am sure she has been making some of her own decisions. Those complaining talk about violation of human rights, blah, blah. Her human rights were not violated because she was treated humanely. As for civil rights, well she has none here. A civil right is one granted by virtue of citizenship:

: the nonpolitical rights of a citizen; especially : the rights of personal liberty guaranteed to United States citizens by the 13th and 14th amendments to the Constitution and by acts of Congress Webster

She is not a citizen so she has no civil rights and the Constitution does not apply to her. She was treated fairly under the law. I believe the people are upset because if she does not get back here she will not have her jackpot baby on US soil. Until Congress clarifies the law to apply as the writers of the 14th Amendment intended, her kid would be a citizen if born here (jackpot, we are in and can rob American taxpayers blind). I have written about the 14th before and what it means but a footnote in a different ruling by the SCOTUS has been misinterpreted to give citizenship to any kid that pops out of someone who is not a citizen (or subject to the jurisdiction thereof). The unfortunate thing is the teachers in this school are probably unaware of this and they are teaching the next generation.

The tragedy in all this is not that some ILLEGAL was deported or that her jackpot kid might not be born here or even that kids are afraid. The real crime is that the Student Resource Officer (and officer in the Roswell Police Department), Charlie Corn, has been relieved of his duties and the school board decided to remove all RSOs from the schools.

Isn’t this great? The lesson, boys and girls, is that is you do not like the law remove the people who enforce it. Just change the rules so that the laws do not apply to you and your ILLEGAL activity. I wonder if they would have removed the officer if he arrested a drug dealer. I also wonder who will shoulder the blame if an incident happens (Columbine ring a bell) and there are no officers in the schools.

This is a shame and it shows how far liberal twits will go to appease law breakers. What they should be concerned with is teaching these kids right from wrong. It is hard to do that when the bureaucrats ignore the rules in order to allow law breakers to continue breaking the law.

I am personally tired of hearing people cry every time some ILLEGAL gets deported. I am also tired of this mentality that they are owed something or are entitled to taxpayer funded services. They are law breakers and they should be treated accordingly. I think ICE should conduct immigration raids at all the schools a few times a month. That should get rid of them pretty quickly.

We need more officers like Corn and fewer bureaucrats like those on the Roswell school board.

A nation will not remain sovereign so long as it leaves its borders open and allows unfettered access to people who do not belong here. Surely there are crops to pick in Mexico.
