Carter Apointee Removes All Doubt

A Federal Judge appointed by former President Carter removed all doubt about libs being strong on national security when she ruled that NSA wire tappings were illegal and must stop immediately. U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor who was no doubt shopped by the ACLU became the first judge to make such a ruling. Her ruling will now allow our enemies to effectively use our own legal system against us. The terrorists will view this as a victory for them while liberals across the country will view it the same way. If we are attacked again the only poetic justice would be attacks that took out the ACLU headquarters and/or this judge’s home. I am not in any way suggesting violence against anyone but if they are the ones who cause the problem then they, and not innocent by-standers, should be the ones to suffer.

The left has been telling us that they are the ones who are actually strong on national security and that they would be the ones to protect us. The ruling by this liberal, Carter appointee should dispel this myth once and for all but in case some people still do not grasp the concept let me make it clear. Liberals are not strong on national security and they aid and abet our enemies. This judge made the ruling despite US Code that specifically allows it and without regard for the benefits the program has given us.

One thing is for certain and that is the case will make it to the Supreme Court. The Justice Department filed an immediate appeal and regardless of the outcome of the appeal one side or the other will appeal to the SCOTUS. One can only hope the people on that Court have the sense to actually review case law and, as Democratic Senators like to say “Stare Decisis.” You see, that is a big deal when they are asking about abortion but it appears that Taylor never learned that concept or figured, as many moonbats do, the law does not apply to my opinion. There are a number of judicial rulings that have said this was within the President’s Authority. I have written about them in the past with links and references. Apparently, Taylor suffers from such a bad case of Bush Derangement Syndrome that she was unable (probably unwilling) to look these things up and apply a bit of the aforementioned stare decisis. Perhaps this half baked moonbat wanted her name in the history books with reference to something more than being appointed by the most failed President in the history of this country.

Notice the part that says nominated by Jimmy Carter. That in and of itself says it all. Perhaps it is time for this doddering old fool, at 74, to retire. Maybe she does not have too many more years left but a lot of us do and we would like to live them out without terrorists coming here and killing us. Thanks judge Taylor, al-Qaida thanks you as well.

Judge Taylor just nominated herself for the next Jackass of the Month poll.

What drives me insane is not the ruling itself as there are always some nutcase “I’m gonna change the world” judicial activists who don’t really know the law. It’s the ridiculous judicial shopping. Just find ANY one of over 550 judges who shares the extreme left’s opinion on a subject and the whole system grinds to a halt. Complete BS!!!!

Yeah, I’m sure you know way more about the law than a practicing federal judge. As for Carter being the worst president in history- nah, that’s Bush all the way. You slam the liberals for being lax on security- 9/11 happened on a neo-cons watch… Or did you all forget the report delivered to Bushy early in his presidency titled “Bin Laden Determined to Attack the US” which Bush and his people ignored according to testimony by Condoleeza Rice. You guys are so full of it.

    Matt,
I might know more than an ancient judge who allowed her liberal bias to overlook established precedent.

Look it up, I have posted about it with links and judicial decisions and with links to the US Code that allows it. The ACLU looked all around to find a judge who would agree with them. Here is a news flash for you little troll, this will be overturned.

As for 9/11 let us not forget that the Clinton administration gave us 9/11 by pulling out of Somalia. That is what bin Laden said inspired him to attack. 9/11 happened 8 months into an administration after Clind had 8 years to take him out (and he was offered up at least 3 times).

Carter allowed Iran to turn into the hell hole it is and we had hostages for over 400 days because he was weak. The economy under Carter was at a 21% interest rate. If you are going to make claims at least get a few facts and a few clues.

Of course we knew bin laden wanted to attack us. Remember the WTC bombing of 1993. The difference is Bush recognized the threat while Clinton was busy with his pants around his ankles.
