Was the response to Dan Quayle disproportionate? He was a silly man that said silly things. A punchline. So people make jokes. Bush was just as bad or worse, but his mistakes weren’t funny and now we all pay. Palin is Bush and Quayle with lipstick (and no power).

Run her at your peril.

The idea that Palin could represent a threat is not an idea I can take seriously. But I really do try because I know there are many, like you, who for some reason really believe this.

When has Palin ever been anything other than a gift that keeps on giving to her political opponents? She has a small and ardent following but at the same time has a group much larger that can’t stand her. She is *unelectable* on the national level.

Here is the effect she had on the GOP ticket:

Independents:
More likely to support: 16%
Less likely: 32%
No diff: 50%

All voters:
More likely to support: 18%
Less likely to support: 24%
No difference: 56%

Gov. Here is just one example;

But hidden inside is a very telling fact of life about liberal education;

UC’s tem campus’ will, because of governemnt subsidy cuts, have to reduce their budgets by 20%.
I quote the article, “…the cut in state funding brings the amount of state investment in the University down to $2.4 billion – exactly where it was in real dollars a decade ago.”

They loss 20% and it takes them back ten years. OK. Fine

Then the article says, “During the same time period, spending on state prisons has more than doubled to $11 billion.”

What is that telling us?
Simple! As liberal systems progress, there gets to be more criminals, and more expensive ways of cattering to them.

How can this be seen as anything but black-and-white evidence of the failure of liberal thought, politics and education?
20% more spent on liberal universities results in 100% more prison costs.

Yep, liberals are the problem, and Albert Einstein said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”
Apply this liberal thinking to liberal thinking, and you have a pretty good idea of the problem.

I also can’t understand what standing a person in DC has, assuming the person is not a citizen of Alaska.

Maybe we can all start suing other states for the stuff they fail to do.

It is ridiculous and continues to get even more so.

She should have vetoed the legislation anyway.
