Bye Bye Bart

Looks like the continuous pressure for the TEA Party has created a casualty. Bart Stupak, the Democrat whose band of phony anti abortionists gave Pelosi the votes she needed, announced he would not be seeking reelection.

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), who played a central role in the health reform fight as the leader of anti-abortion Democrats, announced Friday afternoon that he will not run for reelection, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. Without Stupak on the ballot, the seat becomes an immediate pickup opportunity for Republicans. Politico

He says it was not the TEA Party but he is wrong. That group was targeting (ooh, is that a reference to violence) his seat and was preparing to spend a lot of money in his district to defeat him.

The threats Stupak experienced were from the left. All his comments about phone calls in the middle of the night and threats to him and his wife came before he changed his mind.

In other words, they came from the left. But the MSM did not call for them to be arrested like they did when a few threats were made after the bill passed.

Stupak did not receive threats after he changed his vote, he received phone calls cussing him out. The threat to him was the TEA Party and he was afraid to lose his seat in an election. He said he was not afraid, but he was.

If he had been thinking about retiring for some time then he could have voted no and not had to worry about retaliation from Obama and Pelosi. He did not decide to quit until the TEA Party turned up the heat.

There will be more to come. As the TEA Party turns up the heat on the vulnerable Democrats.

It will be a bloodbath in November.

Never surrender, never submit.
