With Republicans it’s only the kooks who cheer Democratic deaths and the mainstream that oppose it. With Democrats it’s the mainstream that cheers Republican deaths and the kooks that oppose it.

Also they’d have to have tickets to the event, which means they’d have to have done campaign work or donated money to the campaign, highly unlikely for a group of white supremacists.

Basically this “plot” had a big fat 0 chance of successfully happening as described by the media. The only thing it does is give the Dems and race baiters ammo for their cries of a racist America and something to sensationalize in the media to win sympathy for Obama.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

2) Camo clothing (perfect for an urban environment like Denver and Invesco Field right?)

3) Rifles sighted for 750 yards (The average Joe isn’t going to be hitting anything but the broad side of a barn from that far out. To hit something from that far out you need a good rifle and lots of practice, most people that shoot those distances and further have lots of time and money invested in the rifle, ammo, and other shooting equipment. Not to mention Obama probably wears a vest in such venues so a head shot would be required and that’s a tough target for the amateur shooter even at 300 yards.)
4) Admittance that they were plotting to kill Obama almost as soon as they were caught. You’d think if they had the brains involved to actually hit a target at 750 yards reliably (all the sharp shooters I’ve met at the range are pretty intelligent people) they’d at least have come up with a story in case they got caught.

Either they are a bunch of dumbasses that came up with some half-assed idea while high or they are a bunch of dumbasses that are looking to “rally the troops” by appearing to be an assassination plot. Either way they need to go to jail for a long time.

I’ll bet once professional analysis of the rifles and ammo is released (if it ever sees the light of day) it will show that they had a snow ball’s chance in hell of ever hitting Obama from 750 yards.
