Last year it was freezing rain on I-95 on the way to the airport, massive delays getting tickets and through security, then even more delays leaving because of ice. Then we caught a connecting flight....in Chicago. It was the same thing there. I'd rather spend 19 hours in a car where we can stop for food and rest than 19 hours in an airport with 10,000 people who pretend they each are the only ones who matter. Call me bitter on this one. It was busy in San Francisco at Christmas no doubt but it's not 10 degrees there this time of year... You know I fly a lot and it is horrible. People bringing in huge bags to put in overhead bins, bringing more than they are allowed, chatting on cell phones, watching DVDs, using laptops, listening to iPods, it is horrible. Kids on planes don't bother me unless their parents let them climb all over the seats instead of making them sit. The goal is to get on, get settled and get on the way. When you get above 10,000 feet then you can use your crap except cells (though I wonder why they need the stuff on a 2 hour flight). See, we can agree on some things!

If she said she would allow him to use the phone for $10 then you might have a point. She was doing her job and he did not like it. I liked the way she said she did not make the rules, she just followed them and Schumer is a member of Congress and they make the rules. Surely you can't be defending him.
