A very good article, thank you. And you are absolutely right that if there is anything in politics that rings hollow it is a politician telling people to tell the truth. To my mind to kill a human being is a murder and that’s why partial birth abortion is a murder.

Actually John, it is the legislature that confuses people. You see, abortion is OK but if you kill a woman who is pregnant and her kid dies it is murder. Abortion is murder. The idea is not to make women or doctors criminals it is to make the act a crime.

Now, if a woman and a doctor decide to conduct an abortion after it is a crime then they made THEMSELVES criminals.

It is like saying that making a law against robbing a bank is nothing more than trying to make bank robbers criminals.

If you kill a human being it is murder and no sane person could ever think that partial birth abortion is not murder. Only an idiot thinks that it is OK to do that.

It is the pro choice idiots who think it is OK to kill an innocent unborn child but will protest to keep a murderer from getting the death penalty.

I figure by the time the overturn Roe most liberals will have aborted their next generation so there won’t be many of them around.

“No one wants to make women and doctors criminals. What people want is to outlaw abortion.”

Then perhaps pro-lifers could reduce some of this self-imposed confusion by describing abortion as something other than “murder,” which has a very specific legal meaning and critical implications.
