Back from GOE
Posted at 18:08 by Big Dog in MilitaryI just returned home from the Gathering of Eagles in DC. Thousands of veterans showed up to tell the anti-war crowd that they will never, ever steal victory from us like they did in Vietnam. I heard the anti war idiots down the street. There did not seem to be as many of them as there were us and that might be because it was cold and icy. We veterans are used to working in adverse conditions so we were able to accomplish our mission.
The veterans lined up along the sidewalk on Constitution Avenue (not all the veterans) and the line extended as far as the eye could see. There were a few little incidents, one of which involved a guy who got upset because someone said something about Muslims and he is a Muslim. I have his picture and I will be posting it. When I do I will tell the story about what happened but the short story is he was offended because and elderly veteran said something about Muslims and peace (I don’t know what the exact words were) and this follower of the religion of peace threatened to kill the old vet. That was broken up when a police officer showed up. I will tell the story about the Muzzie wanna be when I post his picture. Suffice it to say if he had hit the elderly vet there were a lot of people who would have stomped this Muzzie scum into worm dirt.
