The Constitutional Sheriff, America’s Last Hope

Yesterday, September 17th was the celebration of our Constitution….225 years ago this document was signed by brave and selfless men. It is a testament to the strength of just how strong and resilient this document is, as it has been put to the test over the last 150 years.
I attended a small gathering in my county to give thanks and to learn more about this document, both federal and state. The guest to speak was Pastor David Whitney from The Institute on the Constitution. He gave a beautiful and concise lecture on how this document serves us under God’s law, not man’s law.
I learned a great deal last evening but one point Pastor Whitney wished to drive home was the importance of the Constitutional Sheriff. He reminded us that this elected seat was the only law enforcement entity mentioned in our Constitution. and, he warned us that for those of us who still had a sheriff, to hold on tight to them.
He showed us the danger in appointed police commissioners and their allegiance to their county executive with the recent case in Anne Arundel County against John Leopold. Leopold was indicted on charges of misconduct while on duty and using tax payer money and county workers (the county police commissioner) to aide him in his destructive behavior. His trial is set for January 2013, and the former County Police Commissioner struck a deal which further cost taxpayers in Anne Arundel County to award him for the misdeeds that took place….We see this all the time, don’t we?
Many sheriffs do not understand their Constitutional powers and a growing number of them met at the annual Convention (www.cspoa.org) that Sheriff Mack, one of the only sheriffs to ever file suit against the federal government and win, puts on. Sheriff Mack is slowly teaching his fellow law enforcement friends what they swore to do and who their allegiance is to.
Pastor Whitney was there and left the convention early to come home and give his lecture to us about the Constitution. He spoke of the various high profile sheriffs we all have come to know by their high profile in fighting tyranny by our federal government. Sheriff Joe Arpaio was there. We all know Sheriff Joe, don’t we? The man who took on the presidents birth certificate. and, IMO, proved without a shadow of a doubt that the document we were shown was a forged and phony document. Perhaps we will never get to the truth about this controversy but it will not be because our constitutional sheriff let us down.
One sheriff Pastor Whitney did not mention was Sheriff Dever, from Cochise County Arizona. I only know of this man from a documentary I saw recently called, “They Come to America”. A documentary On the truth about illegal immigration, and what effects it is having on our country. While both political conventions have come and gone, little was spoken about this grave issue to our country. And while the flags were waving and the horns were blowing at these conventions, Sheriff Dever was doing what he does everyday…protecting our borders…protecting American citizens. A tough but gentle man with a white cowboy hat. Quietly saying that Janet Napolitano would not dictate to him how to serve his citizens…She would not tell him when the borders were safe, HE would tell her.
This morning I awoke to learn that the cowboy with the white hat lost his life yesterday on the 225 anniversary of the beloved Constitution he fought for. A one car crash took away one of Americas last Constitutional sheriffs. RIP Sheriff Dever…We’ll take it from here brother.
Dumb And Dumber, The Intervention Of An Addict

Anyone ever had an addict in their family??? I have. what drives any form of addict is the bloodthirsty need to have power or control over another or a situation. It is the nucleus to the disorder…and trust me, it is a HUGE disorder…for every addict to remain so, they must have one or more co-addicts. hat being a willing person or partner who doesn’t engage in the addictive act, but does nothing to stop the active addict.
What I witnessed by both Republicans and Democrats at their convention was the disease of addiction and their willing co-addicts. That feeling of watching something occur and asking yourself if you really did just see what you saw. Surreal. The debris inside the eye of the storm flying everywhere, must have been what it felt like to be a delegate of anyone but Mitt Romney. And let’s not give the Dems a pass either…same for any Democratic delegate who places God as their supreme guide in life decisions and behavior.
Those of us on the outside of that eye of the storm can see things for exactly what they are, and it isn’t a pretty sight for either party if they continue this assault on rules, laws, and citizens. Judging from how many citizens don’t bother to vote, and how many dead citizens continue to vote, I’d say this is an utter failure. How about you?
To push away all those elected delegates by the people of their states, and change the rules at the last second to get your boy the 1144 delegates he needed, was less than the “big tent” you claim you are Republicans. And to push God out of any reference in your little party in Charlotte was equally divisive Democrats. You’re not winning anyone over.
How many of you would like to have another choice? How many would like to hear Gary Johnson in the debates, who is on the ballot in all 50 states? I know I would. I would like to hear what a former Governor of New Mexico, who was one of only four Governors to leave office with a budget surplus, has to say. I would like to hear what the former Governor has to say about cutting taxes, because he did so 14 times and still left the treasury with 222 million to the 28 million when he arrived. I would like to hear what the former Governor who won two terms with a wide margin has to say about school choice, since he was the first to lead the challenge on a statewide voucher program. I would like to hear about a former Governor who actually cut 1200 government jobs without firing one government employee. I would like to hear from the former Governor who vetoed 750 bills during his tenure, more than any other Governor in the country. I would like to hear about health care from a former Governor who has participated in several Iron Man triathlons and summited Mt. Everest in 2003.
If the Republicans throw another game in November, just remember, there was a third choice…he just wasn’t invited to the party…maybe because he isn’t a power hungry, controlling addict?? Maybe he isn’t drinking the Kool Aid that requires an intervention.
Is Al Qaeda In Your Coke???

Who would’ve ever dreamed on that beautiful Indian summer Tuesday morning, we’d be dealing with police swabbing what we buy to drink at the airport? Latex gloved goons with what appears to be a strip, which could test your urine. Swabbing your drink, after the cattle prod occurs Bought from the airport food court…What? Is this the land of the free, home of the brave?
I suppose all those immigrants Neil Diamond wrote about in his smash hit, “Comin to America”, feel just a bit ripped off today. The “Disney World Country” envied by so many is quickly becoming a “Nightmare in Manhattan”. You could never make me believe that on that beautiful blue sky day, my future would appear so dark today. Even on the brightest day I see so many slumped shoulders walking the streets.
Here we are, eleven years after such a traumatic and devastating act of terrorism was launched on this union, and we’ve sunk to body scans, genital probing, and now swabbing our drinks looking for explosives…Fourth amendment be damned, they MUST keep us safe….Safe from who??
Meanwhile, the border doors are wide open…Is your head beginning to cock just a bit? The very people who must scan you, prob you, and swab you, have the welcome sign up at the border. ICE agents are suffering legal damages for asking someone who can barely converse in English to show legal proof of residency in our country.
Maybe this is the “twilight zone”….the “outer limits”….a horrible sweat drenching nightmare..My solace is a 70,000 seat stadium in Charlotte that could not be filled, so they lie a little more and tell the herd they’re protecting them from thunderstorms to move inside a 20,000 capacity facility. are they swabbing those drinks, or spiking them? Who believes this nonsense?
How did I get to a place where planes that purposefully crashed into the worlds tallest buildings, I could actually fear my government more than those monsters who took over those planes? Can someone please pinch me….wake me up from this insidious nightmare…When…WHEN, will America have had enough!!!!
