Did it ever occur to you that the gunmen in the TN church shooting and LAX shooting might have had the “intention of intimidating or coercing society for ideological reasons”? I mean the a$$ clown in Tennessee preached hatred of gays, so he murdered congregants of a church that preached tolerance. Do you fail to recognize that in this idiots twisted mind, he likely was advancing his ideological agenda and at the same time “intimidating society”. It’s clearly terrorism. Just because it wasn’t an Arab blowing something up, doesn’t disqualify it from being terroristic. You better take it easy on the policework kid, you aren’t exactly a super sleuth.

None of the mentioned incidents were acts of terror, they were crimes or mass murder. There was no attempt to influence government.

What would you call Columbine? Virgina Tech? Westroads Mall? Salt Lake City Mall? The Amish School?

While murderous rampages can “terrorize” communities, they often are the work of a single person with severe issues. Rare cases can be more than one individual like Columbine, but the majority are sole perpetrators.

While the media has played up the TN gunman’s views, hating Christians, Gays, and Liberals and trying to take a bunch with you on your way out doesn’t quite make it terrorism. His ultimate goal was his own death while taking a few people he hated with him, not coercing or intimidating those groups or the government into his views. If anything his actions would have the exact opposite, eliciting sympathy from most normal people for the people he attacked.

Yep. Just like that act of terror in the church in Tennessee on Sunday. But you guys refuse to recognize that as terrorism, for the perpetrator is a “Christian”.

The Israelis (as stated in the article) believed it was a terrorist act, but from the information provided nothing concrete can be ascertained. Perhaps more information can be found in follow up articles, though the story is so old that most aren’t available without opening a subscription of some type.

From the little I can garner beyond that article it looks a bit more like a “suicide by cop” deal than an act of terrorism in the official sense. Though some could argue that his act by its very nature was an act of terror.

Didn’t we oust the “radicals” from power in Afghanistan? The Taliban were the extremists right?

Why is it that there are Muslims at the heart of almost every violent conflict worldwide? Can you answer that one Bunny? You can’t just blame it all on the US, they are attacking China, India, Ethiopia, and in other places across the globe.

If this were a “small segment of backward extremists” as you and apologists claim how is that they are performing attacks across the globe? BO claims that it is economic disparity and lack of education that spurs these extremists. How then does that explain that Ayman al Zawahiri was born to upper class doctors and had a Masters in Surgery from the University of Cairo? How do you explain that many of the 9/11 terrorists had Masters degrees in fields like Mechanical Engineering, Finance, and Architecture?

With the above information and the known practice of Taqiyya how pray tell would you know an “non-terroristic” Muslim from one that participates in weekly meeting on planning the bombing of the local stadium? Only a moron would state “I have asked every non-terroristic Muslim I’ve ever met (all of them were non-terroristic) if this is indeed the message. They have all told me that it is not.” I’m sure the 9/11 hi-jackers ran around admitting that they were terrorists to everyone that asked.

As for what is to be done with Muslims…I’ve listed that elsewhere. Its a unique issue that has little precedent. A war of culture and ideals that involves people spread across the globe, with no real clear “opponent”. Islam itself has assured that the “peaceful Muslim” cannot be separated from the Jihadist who is working to undermine their enemy.

I’ve outlined our options elsewhere, but the long and short of it is: outright war against Islam and ALL of its adherents, deportation and containment to existing Muslim states of Muslims by Western nations, or we submit and Western Culture and ideals die.

Bunny likes to call me a xenophobe, however I neither hate nor fear people merely because they are different from me. Hate clouds one’s mind, just as Bunny’s self-hate, and America-hate could his thought process. It is when those differences pose a real and evident threat to my country, my neighbors, my family, and myself that I take issue. If Islam were not a threat to the ideals laid down by the Declaration of Independence, and the freedoms granted by the Amendments to the US Constitution then I wouldn’t have an issue with it. Just as I have no issues with Atheism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Taoism, Confucianism, Native American Spiritualism, Hinduism, Sikhism, etc.

You merely need to read the news to see the evident threat posed by Islam and its adherants. I’ve even linked you a few in this thread.
