The US Army wants to get the word out that help is available to the spouses of deployed soldiers. A recently released study shows that children of soldiers are more vulnerable to abuse and neglect when the soldier is deployed. If you are the spouse of a deployed soldier please do not wait until the Army contacts you. If you are having problems contact the medical facility that provides your care and tell them you require assistance. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of maturity.
