During the Presidential election there were many instances of nasty things being done. The Democrats shot at Republican offices, signs were burned and otherwise destroyed, and cars were defaced. I am not going to pretend that Republicans did not do their share of things that were less than civil, but the ones that involved gun play and violence (like at union rallies) were attributed to the left. It was the left that suffered the arrests of people who slashed tires among other things. Today, there is a story about a moonbat who stuffed an envelope of dog crap through a mail slot in a Republican candidate’s office:
Musgrave spokesman Shaun Kenney said someone stuffed the envelope through the mail slot in the door on May 31 and then sped away in a car. Kenney said most of the preprinted return address was blacked out, but staffers used the nine-digit ZIP code to trace it to Kathleen Ensz, a Weld County Democratic volunteer.
Ensz told The Associated Press she left the envelope at Musgrave’s office but said it “wasn’t in the office doors, it was in the foyer.” Asked what she meant by the act, she declined comment.
It is unreasonable to expect that the Democrat running for office had any control over this. The request for an apology is unwarranted and unless there is direct evidence that the Democrat had anything to do with it then the promise to discourage it is mostly sufficient. I say mostly because they also need to tell Kathleen Ensz that she may no longer volunteer.
Moonbats unhinged, and we still have 5 months until the general election.
