And They Say She Is Not Trying To Appear As A Moderate

I posted recently about John Roberts and I made the assertion that I doubted Hillary Clinton would vote for him. This might prove to be incorrect. Hillary has recently confided in her associates that she will support the selection. When I was writing the last post the thought crossed my mind that she might go with him to beef up her senate record for her run at the White House. I dismissed that figuring she would upset her baby killer abortion friends. Here is what was reported at Drudge:

Senator Hillary Clinton has confided to associates that she intends to vote FOR Bush Supreme Court nominee John Roberts, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Unless some unforeseen development occurs around Roberts, Clinton will throw her support behind confirmation, says a top source.

“Look, we’re not thrilled President Bush is in office and gets to make these choices,” said a top Hillary source, “but we have to make the best of the situation until the next election!”

With her support of Roberts, Clinton ignores pressure from the reactionary-activist wing of the Democrat party.

“She is simply doing what is right for the country, not MOVEON.ORG,” the Clinton insider explained.

Since this was short I copied the whole thing. You can find it here.

Notice her words about making the best until the next election. Her aid made it a point to say she is doing what is best for the country not moveon.org. Well if Hillary does not like Roberts wouldn’t voting against him and trying to keep him off the bench be best for the country? At least from her point of view. No, I think it is best to say Hillary is doing what is in the best interest of Hillary.

Here she will be able to tell America that she is truly a moderate and she even voted for Roberts, who we all know is a conservative person. She will use this to her advantage. As my astute colleague Surfside pointed out, Hillary is not stupid and she learns rapidly from mistakes, both hers and others. She saw what a poor voting record did to John Kerry. She is trying to amass a record that appeals to a majority of the country so they will think she is a great person and can do wonders for the country.

Just remember, Hillary viewed Bill’s terms as a co-presidency. Given that, she had eight years in office and the country was not safe when they left the White House. I am not opposed to a woman president. I just think that a good one needs to be the first one because if she screws it up it will be a long time before the country trusts a woman to be in charge.

Hillary is not the person you want to be the first woman president. Read The Truth About Hillary and you will get the facts.

Author’s Note: The book has been bashed by the MSM. There are a number of people who say this is not well sourced. It has been reported that Hillary was very upset about the book and that she had her friends in the Media put the brakes on promotion of the author and the book. They even want people to write bad reviews about it even if they have not read it (they would prefer people not to read it). From Amazon I see 341 comments at the time of this post. The ones I read were more in favor of the book but I did not read them all. I have read the book. There are a few unnamed sources but most items are well referenced. One only needs to read the book and compare the assertions with those of others like LTC Buzz Patterson. His accounts of the “missing files” square with what Klein reports in the book. As you read it think back to her actions and the things going on. Ask yourself if the assertions square with what was going on. If one or two people say something you can allege bias or an agenda. When multiple sources are saying very similar things you have to begin to wonder. The whole world can not be the liars and Hillary telling the truth.

  1. Ypu are right on, espesially about being right for the country vs. right for Hillary. This is confirmation for me, based on her actions, that she is running for President in 2008.
