The ACLU is involved in yet another lawsuit. This is about a case in New Hampshire challenging the law there that requires parental notification before a teen gets an abortion. The ACLU has this posted on their web site:
The ACLU’s Reproductive Freedom Project protects everyone’s right to make informed decisions — free from government interference — about whether and when to become a parent.
Perhaps they were sleeping when the government interfered and found the right to an abortion in the Constitution when no other court had done so in hundreds of years. Perhaps they do not understand that parents are responsible for their children and have a right to know what they are doing. Maybe they can explain why children can not go to the doctor and have any other surgery (including body piercings) without parental permission.
Perhaps the ACLU is only involved in this hot-button issue because their lawyers get tons of money from the lawsuits every time they get involved. It is past the time for us to get rid of this organization. They are nothing more than a cancer that eats away the very fiber of our existence. It is time to cut this malignancy away from our being and move on to a better life.
