ACLU, The Terrorist’s Friend

The ACLU is all upset about the legal surveillance conducted by the NSA. The ACLU is stretching this way out of bounds and insinuating that every citizen in this country was a target. To hear them tell it, you would never know that the President only surveilled people who were suspected terrorists. The ACLU is not a governmental agency so I want to know where they get off acting like they own the country. They are DEMANDING that records be released and that the Justice Department conduct an investigation.

The ACLU has demanded records from the NSA and other agencies in connection with the domestic spying secretly approved by the president.

A special counsel must be named to lead the investigation into this executive misconduct; Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has shattered any appearance of independence by approving and defending this clear violation of our federal criminal law.

The ACLU has a copy of an ad they placed in The New York Times (how convenient, the communist organization supporting the communist paper). In the ad there is a picture of Richard Nixon and a quote he made and a picture of George Bush and a quote he made. The ACLU says they both lied and broke the law and then asks what should we do when Presidents lie and break the law.

Well, if the President is a Democrat who lied and broke the law the ACLU and every other leftist organization allows it to happen. I am not talking about Clinton using surveillance against an American, though he did, I am talking about his other little problem. It is the one that school kids will see glossed over in the history books. When he lied and broke the law, he was defended by every nut case in the country.

George Bush has not broken any law and the ACLU is going after him. They are definitely in favor of granting rights to terrorists and ignoring the law and precedent in order to push their communist agenda. For a group of people who want Supreme Court nominees to follow precedent so that abortions can continue, they sure do not like to use precedent in the war on terror.

We need to pass a law to keep taxpayer money from going to this communist organization and we need to put them out of business. I can only hope that the next time we are attacked, and if the left gets their way it will happen, that the attack is at ACLU headquarters. I would love to hear that conversation:
ACLU: We were attacked.

Government: Yeah, we knew about it last week. The NSA heard the terrorists talking about it.

ACLU: Why didn’t you tell us so we could be protected?

Government: We didn’t have a warrant so screw you.

If only the world were perfect…..
