To a conservative, a right defines something you can do. To a liberal, a right defines something you can expect. The problem is that a liberal right is always purchased by depriving others of conservative rights…….

Next – if women are more in favor than opposed to overturning Roe, how does one explain the COUNTLESS women now lobbying for Roe being OVERTURNED, Jon? Bueller, Bueller, Bueller?

There are very few absolutes so the assertion that it will always be legal forever dismisses the fact that the SCOTUS could overturn Roe V Wade and then it would be ILLEGAL. States might also impose their own laws.

No woman wants to have an abortion. Wrong. Another absolute. Some women use abortion as a birth control method. I am sure there are some who anguish over this decision but many get them so they must want them. I find it hard to believe that millions of woman are doing something they do not want. Besides if it is HER right to choose then how is she exercising that right if she is doing something she does not want to do. Nice try but did you think this through?

The planet is not over populated though we were told that by now we would be starving to death because of all the people. Birth rates are going down in many countries. It is estimated that France is two generations away from extinction (where there are no longer any purely French people) because they are not reproducing.

As for the US. There are slightly more than 300 million people here so we will just use 300 million.
The state of Texas has a land area of 261,914 square miles. There are 640 acres in a square mile so the land mass of Texas in acres is 167,624,960. If you divide this by the number of people (acre/person) you end up with 0.558 which I rounded to 0.56 or just over half an acre per person in the US. There are 4,840 square yards per acre or 43,560 square feet. That means each person would get 2,710 square yards or 24,393 square feet.

This means that we are so over populated that every man woman and child in the US could move to Texas and each would have a little over a half an acre to himself. That means a family of four would live on a little over two acres. That would leave the other 49 states empty and devoid of life.

So tell me again how we are over populated??

Abortion is MURDER. It is not death control or any other fancy word you want to use. It is murder. Perhaps you would feel it was OK if they passed a law allowing us to kill liberals just for population control. Of course, since the libs get most of the abortions they will go the way of the French soon anyway.
