Baghdad Jane?

Well it seems that old habits die hard and Hanoi Jane is going to get into the fight to end the war in Iraq. Most of you will remember Commie Jane as the super chick who went to Vietnam and told everyone how well our boys being held captive were being treated. From Snopes:

During a 1972 trip to North Vietnam, Jane Fonda propagandized on behalf of the North Vietnamese government, declared that American POWs were being treated humanely and condemned U.S. soldiers as “war criminals” and later denounced them as liars for claiming they had been tortured:

So we are supposed to be happy that this jackass who gave help to our enemy is going to jump in and do that again? I imagine it will not be long before we see her with a suicide bomber vest on telling us that the poor terrorist is misunderstood and our troops are lying about the car bombs in crowds of civilians. Baghdad Jane describes her decision as follows:

“I’ve decided I’m coming out,” she said.

Hundreds of people in the audience cheered loudly when Fonda announced her intentions to join the anti-Iraq war movement.

“I have not taken a stand on any war since Vietnam,” she said. “I carry a lot of baggage from that.”

You would think that after the trouble she has had over the years she would know what not to do. You would think that her recognition of the baggage means she will not be out causing problems again. I actually thought she was going to be able to put her traitorous ways behind her when she apologized last year. Evidently all those doobies she smoked during the last anti-war rallies have finally caught up with her and she has lost the ability to think.

BJ, as she will now be called, is going on a bus tour around the country in a vehicle that runs on vegetable oil. I think her driver will be Florence Henderson. The article says that the troops from Iraq she has talked to wanted to know when she was going to get involved. I want to know how many that could possibly be since most troops past and present hate her very existence. I think John Kerry put on some raggedy fatigues sat in the crown egging her on.

I guess it will not be long before BJ goes to Iraq and starts hanging with the terrorists (that she will call misunderstood insurgents) and she will be walking around holding their guns and trying to convince us exactly how bad these evil sons of Satan have it. She will have idiots like the former Mr. Madonna, Sean Penn with her pretending to be a reporter. John Kerry will have the boys together and they will burn flags and sing songs and yell “Hell no we won’t go.” They might even get Ted Kennedy to support the trip but he will no go with them because there is no booze there. Perhaps Jesse Jackson can play the Malcom X part and have the grey panthers (they have gotten a bit older). It will be old home week for BJ. She will not know what to do with all the old war protesters out there acting stupid. She will actually feel young again (which is probably why the old hag is doing it anyway). Yes ladies and gentlemen, BJ will feel like it is the good ole days of the Vietnam protests with her and her band of geriatric meddlers taking on the bad establishment of the military and the man.

Just one little thing is different BJ. We can now put a 2 ton bomb in the eye of a needle from a hundred miles away. We call it precision bombing, you will tell Saint Peter it was the last thing you saw before you made it to judgement. Won’t it be nice with all that vegetable oil and the deep fried liberals?

Here is the story.

Don’t you think the timing on BJ’s trip is a bit strange? March is when it was rumored we’d begin bringing troops home — given the successful completion of the Constitution and elections. Seems like Jane wants to look successful from the get-go. Doubtlessly, she will try to attribute the step-down to her illustrious protest. :wink_ee:

The question we need to ask is “who would listen to her?” She is about as dumb as a rock. The country should have learned from her lies (not our soldiers) during VN. Anyone who gives any weight to what she says is mentally deficient. Her father is rolling over in his grave. Her first war protests put him in the grave and now she has him rolling.
